What are the key features of ALLPE MODI?

ALLPE MODI is based on a universal design that can be worn by anyone, but with an even greater emphasis on comfort. It has a variable belt, the key icon from the old ALLPE, while the sole unit has been upgraded and the upper has been redesigned in every detail, giving it a more industrial look. The footbed has been improved to have more adequate firmness and resilient, as an insole that is too soft can impair walking stability.

The new sole has gently contoured arch support, and a raised bar in the toe area that prevents the foot from sliding forward while walking. The moderately upturned toe and heel areas prevent stumbling and make walking easier. The all-rubber outsole ensures grip as well as ease of wear and walking.

What is PASTEL 406, the roots of ALLPE MODI?

The nursing care shoe PASTEL 406 is a rehabilitation shoe with an emphasis on good fitting. The key feature is the universally designed instep band, which is designed to accommodate any foot shape and is easy to put on and take off even for people with high insteps or swollen feet. To allow more people to experience its ease of wear, we created the sandal type ALLPE.

PASTEL 406 features the instep belt which has a large hook-and-loop fastener contact area. This design is incorporated into ALLPE MODI.

What have you paid particular attention to in order to make it fit into everyday life?

While keeping the functional aspects and structure of the roots shoes, we’ve aimed for higher specifications that are easier to put on and take off than sports sandals and fit better than slides. We went through many trials and errors to find the right shape, width and length of the instep belt, which is flexibly adjustable.
