What are the key features of KITCHE?

The mission of 810s is to shed new light on functional professional-use footwear and propose new products from the perspective of everyday wear. The 810s line-up launched in the first season includes STUDEN, HOSP, CAF and KITCHE. KITCHE was developed based on the cook shoe KITCHENSTAR 01. The sole is non-slip, even on floors with water or oil, and the upper material is easy to clean, so that they can be worn in kitchens and food factories.

Elastic band on instep instead of shoelaces for easy on/off. The upper material is easy to wipe clean.

The sole is elaborately designed down to the smallest detail. The Multi-Stopper Sole prevents slipping even on wet floors. Its flat structure is firmly grounded and the flowing curved grooves on the sole bottom disperse water and oil, leaving no residue behind.

What is KITCHENSTAR 01, the roots of KITCHE?

KITCHENSTAR 01 is long-selling cook shoes. It has Multi-Stopper Sole that grips the floor surface, and durable oil-resistant synthetic leather upper.
In addition to these features, KITCHE has ventilation holes on the side to provide comfort for daily use. While taking the best features of KITCHENSTAR01, we have redesigned KITCHE to be a simple and timeless court style.

What did you particularly focus on to make the shoes fit into everyday life?

We tried to keep the design as simple as possible, with attention paid to details such as the texture and luster of the upper material, the optimal shape and space of the stitching lines and the hidden cut surfaces. In order to update the professional-use cook shoes into high-quality, sophisticated everyday footwear, we also carefully selected a last (foot shape) with an appropriate silhouette for a clean instep appearance.

Compared to the prototype, the finished product has a more minimalist appearance.

In terms of comfort, the toe has been made roomy so that they can be worn comfortably for long periods of time. The insole has a two-layer construction, with the part that touches the foot being soft and the bottom being hard.
Also, although not limited to KITCHE, the color range of the 810s collections is mainly basic, nuanced colors , because the shoes are designed to fit in with everyday life without being too assertive in styling.

Among the various court sneakers, KITCHE is an orthodox derby style. So it can be worn in all seasons. I once saw a man on a commuter train wearing KITCHE BLACK with a suit, and they looked great on him. I would be happy if many people wear KITCHE in various occasions and lifestyles.
